Creating a “Cheap” Logo Design

The Cheapest Option is A:
A) Flesh it Out – Cheapest Logo Design Option.
This is where you sit down with a pencil and paper and actually draw something that you like the look of albeit not of a commercial usable logo quality yet 😉
P.S. don’t forget to specify which colours you prefer (one or two is best) and the text (preferably the Font as well) and then take that along with a few other ideas to a good production graphic designer like we have @ Printbroker.net.au. A good production graphic designer should knock your drawing into a commercial quality usable logo design within 1 – 2 hours. Total Cost between $120 – $150 + GST = Your Commercial Quality Logo Created ready to go into multiple mediums.
B) Combination of Elements – 3 hours + 1 hour review for adds, moves and changes
This takes a little longer and is best when you bring in and discuss with the Production Graphic Designer different logos and other elements that you like the look of and discuss the reasons why?
Including where eventually you “want to go” with your logo design ie ”what is it supposed to say” to the customer (i.e. it’s a bit like a very “mini logo brief”) The Production Designer is then given a small level of Creative Degrees of Freedom to create multiple different versions for you (6-9) then to discuss what Elements in each logo you like or don’t like as the case may be and from there we develop your Logo Final version. Total Cost between $200 – $300 + GST. Your Commercial Quality Logo Created ready to go in Multiple different formats.
C) Logo Design Brief – 2 hour interview + 2 hour analysis + Design Time
For those things Important to get Correct! – take extra time & care to cover all the facets your graphically designed Logo may encompass.
A minimum of 2 hours is spent asking a pre-prepared list of Logo Questions that delve deeply into the history and components affecting a Logo and from this we Develop a Marketing Analysed – Logo Design Brief – that is then given to the Graphic Designer to come up with several Multiple different versions (6-9) and from these elements we develop your Final Logo version. Total Cost between $500 – $800 + GST = Your Commercial Quality Logo Created ready to Go in Multiple different formats.
